NJAEP Reports and Data
The widely anticipated report Keeping the Promise – Arts Education for Every Child: The Distance Traveled – The Journey Remaining was released May 10, 2012 at the historic Patriots Theater in the War Memorial in Trenton. This is the follow-up study to the 2006 New Jersey Arts Education Census report WIthin Our Power. The New Jersey Arts Education Census Project (NJAECP) is a partnership of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, the New Jersey Department of Education, the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, Arts Ed NJ (previously the New Jersey Arts Education Partnership), ArtPride New Jersey Foundation and Quadrant Arts Education Research.
The New Jersey Arts Education Census Project is a follow up to the 2005/2006 survey and will create a 360-degree view of arts education in New Jersey schools as well as measure any changes over the past five years. With a response rate exceeding 99%, read all about the current state of arts education in New Jersey and the changes that have occurred over the past several years.
