I am a sophomore honors student at West Morris Mendham High School, where I enjoy studying Algebra II, AP US History, Art, Computer Programming, French, Honors Chemistry, and Honors English. I belong to Amnesty International, Art Club and Service Club. I am on the Cross Country team, the Fencing team and the Track team. I have studied violin for 11 years at the Bloomingdale School of Music in Manhattan. I am passionate about dance and have studied for 10 years at the Dorothy Del Guercio School of Dance in Chester, NJ, where I take ballet and modern dance technique classes. I joined the In Motion Dance Company directed by Kathie Kececi in 8th grade. I have performed with In Motion at Alvin Ailey, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. I have also taken dance classes with Carolyn Dorfman Dance at NJPAC. I have studied karate for 8 years at the Isshinryu Karate of Madison and Bernardsville where I am in training for my black belt. I am also a certified scuba diver. In my free time, I study Russian, write poetry and watch anime.
