Faith Layer’s outstanding accomplishments can only be accredited to her and the support around her. Ms. Layer is an honours student at Bloomfield Tech, she has taken on the load of three AP classes, work study, multiple school events and after school clubs. Some of her greatest accomplishments have been through the Lindsey Meyer Teen Institute as a Youth Advisory Counselor, the Newark Museum as an Explorer, and ACT-SO as a contestant. She volunteered at the local food pantry and Project Homeless Connect Day through National Honours Society. She constantly volunteers for her community and makes use of her extra time pursuing her passion of drawing, painting, and poetry as well as self teaching herself ASL. She has also participated in multiple other programs at workshops like, Seton Hall’s Quest Community Vibrations Radio as well as a paper to online portfolio workshop. Her artistic inspiration began during her elementary school years and her skills developed naturally through practice and art programs. Faith Layer is a profound young artist and will continue her passion of art throughout college and her future career.
