Gretchen Cyriacus is a freshman (class of 2021) at Hopewell Valley Central High School (HVCHS). She played Christine Schoenwalder in the fall play, Picnic and competed with the cast at the NJ State Thespian Festival (first place – Chapter Select). At HVCHS, she is active in the performing arts and choral programs. She is a member of several vocal ensemble groups and Thespian Troupe 7964 at HVCHS and has participated in performances/competitions with these groups. She has trained locally and in NYC (including pre-professional summer intensive programs/workshops/master classes) with concentrated study in: voice, piano, acting, and dance. She has performed in numerous community and school based productions. She won third place (Division 1A – Musical Theater – High School Women Lower) at the 2017 Doris Lenz Festival. She is actively applying to the Performing Arts Academy at HVCHS. She is a member of student council.
