Kayla Bowe – Group Musical Theatre

Kayla Bowe is a Senior attending Gloucester County Institute of Technology School of Performing Arts for Drama. She is proudly president of ‘ACTing Out’, a social advocacy group at GCIT that uses theatre as a platform to speak out about important social issues in today’s society. Kayla is also involved with her schools Thespian Troupe #5480 as Charitable Fundraiser. Kayla can be found participating in other organizations at GCIT as well, such as ‘The Laramie Project’ Project, National Honors Society, and SkillsUSA. She also enjoys participating in the New Jersey Thespian Festival for the past three years and is looking forward to returning to Thespian Nationals for a second time this summer with her friends. In the future, Kayla is excited to pursue a career in doing something she is passionate about as she plans on attending college with a major in theatre education. Kayla wants to inspire students the way her drama teachers have inspired her and remind others that we need the arts in education more than ever before so that we are able teach future generations about themselves and each other.
