Kush Dhungana is a senior at Livingston High School. Dhungana continues to explore various creative mediums, finding success as a writer, director, musician, and producer. Dhungana recently won Scholastic Art and Writing Awards highest national honor: a National Gold Medal and $10,000 scholarship for his writing portfolio. Additionally, he was named the youngest director in the history of the off-Broadway festival, NY Theater Festival. Dhungana also has an immense love for music, serving as the sole producer and audio engineer for the SoundCloud-released album Omission, which features young NJ rappers and singers. Dhungana’s interest in film has additionally propelled him to produce several short films under Eventus Films, a filmmaking collective he co-created with his best friends, and create NJ’s newest film festival, NJ Visionaries Festival, an event that showcases young NJ artists in film 18 and under. Dhungana hopes to keep developing projects that are important to him and create one-of-a-kind experiences for larger and larger audiences.
