Valued for the fullness, color, tambour and warmth of her voice, her dedication to and her love of the music, Theresa Carlomagno is cultivating her art and establishing herself as a unique soprano. Her talent exudes potential with many of the finest in the industry taking notice and aiding her in her advancement.
She began this 2016-2017 year as the recipient of the C. Scripps Beebee Scholarship for first placement in the NJMEA Operafestival. Theresa’s other operatic and vocal engagements this year include various solo performances, house concerts and a solo recital.
Theresa has displayed her talents in multiple venues including Merkin Hall’s Kaufmann Center where she won first prize for her age division, and Patriots Theater at the War Memorial where she received her first Governor’s award for her duet “Brindisi’ from “La Traviata”. She also has affiliation with the New Jersey Opera Company and sings for their luncheons and evening concerts.
Theresa Carlomagno, though not yet a high school graduate is creating a career for herself. She currently coaches with professionals in the field, Sondra Kelly and Artistic Director of the New Jersey Opera Company, and Concert Pianist Albert Stanziano.
