Critical Links collected the most valid and up-to-date research on the academic and social effects of arts learning experiences, from the disciplines of music, dance, visual arts, drama and multi-arts. The examination of the 62 independent studies is weighted by the discussion of transfer, the most advanced form of learning, in each subject. Critical Links grants insight for deepening the arts learning experience and building critical learning skills, thus enabling students to reach higher levels of academic achievement and improve the greater school performance.
