Jennifer Huang is a senior at Ridge High School. She won 2nd place in Parliamentary Debate at both the National Yale Invitational and the Ivy League Parliamentary Championship, where she was also awarded Top Varsity Speaker. She won 3rd place in Extemporaneous Debate at the National Speech and Debate Tournament, the NJ State Championship, and 11th place at the National CFL Tournament in LD. She was the National Champion in Youth About Business’s M&A competition, has been awarded the Silver Key Award for the Critical Essay in the Scholastic Art and Writing Competition, and won several awards for art, piano, and Varsity Fencing. At Ridge, Jennifer is the founder and President of the Reach Out Get Ready Club, President of Alliance for Young Social Entrepreneurs and the French National Honor Society, and Captain of Lincoln-Douglas Debate for the nationally recognized Ridge Forensics Team. She also serves as Vice President of Gauss Math Academy’s student board and the Opinions Editor for the Ridge Political Review. Jennifer has initiated and hosted several debate and public speaking series for younger students and homeless youth in her community. She plans to attend Yale University in the fall, where she would like to study law.
