Anabella Sornoza

Anabella Sornoza is a senior dance major at High Tech High School, where she trains in ballet, modern, and choreography and performs with the school’s touring dance ensemble. She has received extensive training through prestigious programs, including The Ailey School’s 5-Week Professional Division Summer Intensive, the Pre-Professional Dancer’s Institute, NYCDA intensives, Complexions Winter Intensive, and American Ballet Theatre’s Young Dancer Summer Intensive. Anabella has performed as a lead dancer in The Ailey School’s Summer Sizzler and in multiple school showcases, and previously appeared Off-Broadway in Over the Rainbow. She is a member of the National Honor Society of Dance and maintains a 3.9 GPA,  earning her membership in her school’s National Honor Society. Anabella is passionate about contemporary ballet, choreography, and using dance as a form of personal expression and leadership.
