Emily Nichols is an Immaculata High School Senior and a very active member of her musical community both inside and outside of school. Emily’s vocal career began in third grade when she was accepted into the Princeton
Girlchoir as a Grace Note. Currently, she is in her tenth year with the organization and is a member of the highest level group, the PGC Ensemble. Emily is a member of multiple extracurricular choirs at Immaculata, including the Spartan Choir, Chamber Choir, and Music Ministry. She is also the featured singer in the Immaculata Jazz Band. Emily is a four year accepted member of the CJMEA Region Chorus, a three year accepted member of the NJMEA All State Chorus, and participated in the NAFME All Eastern Mixed Choir in 2025.
Emily is also an active instrumentalist, as she is the principal horn of the Immaculata High School Wind Ensemble, and was the Drum Major of the Spartan Marching Band in the 2025 season. Emily is also in her fourth year as a member of the Eastern Wind Symphony Youth Band, and she will be the principal horn for the 2026 season.
Emily will be attending Rutgers University in the fall, and will be studying Journalism and Sports Media. She is looking forward to continuing her musical endeavors through singing in the Rutgers University Choirs, and being a member of the Rutgers University Marching Scarlet Knights.
Emily has a strong passion for music, and is incredibly grateful for all of the ways that it has positively impacted her in her life.
