Myles Cherette

Myles Cherette is a vocalist, performing artist, and student leader from Franklin, New Jersey, who uses his voice to inspire connection through both the arts and civic engagement. His musical work blends jazz, gospel, and R&B, drawing on influences from Nat King Cole to Michael Jackson. Raised singing in church, he learned early how music can bring people together and create space for shared experience.

Myles is a National YoungArts Award Winner with Distinction, a bronze medalist at the NAACP National ACT-SO Competition in Vocal Contemporary, and serves as Creative Director of the Star Choir–winning group “Gold N’ Blues,” which performed at NBC’s 2025 Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting. Alongside performance, he is deeply interested in law, public policy, and African American studies, using advocacy and action to amplify young voices and help shape culture, policy, and the future.
