Sydney Taylor

Sydney Taylor is a seventeen-year-old high school junior who demonstrates exceptional academic achievement and is a proud member of the National Honor Society. She plans to pursue a degree in Molecular Biology with a concentration in Genetics and Oncology. In addition to her academic interests, Sydney is an avid reader and enjoys expressing her creativity through drawing and visual art. She is widely recognized for her dedication, kindness, and thoughtful listening, and she actively serves the Lord through her involvement in ministry.

Beyond the classroom, Sydney is a varsity player on the girls’ soccer team and serves as a peer mentor, supporting and encouraging fellow students. She has studied dance since the age of three and remains deeply engaged in the arts. Sydney is an active participant in the Youth Ministry, HYPE (His Youth Positioned for Excellence), and the Praise Dance Ministry at Tabernacle Baptist Church.

Sydney also plays a leadership role at Faith In Action Incorporated (FIA) Performing Arts and Outreach Program, where she contributes as a performer, dance choreographer, and mentor to others. Her talent and commitment to the arts have earned her significant recognition. She is a two-time Gold Medalist at the New Jersey NAACP ACT-SO (Academic, Cultural, Technological and Scientific Olympics) competition in the Contemporary Dance category. These achievements qualified her to represent New Jersey at the National ACT-SO competitions held in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Charlotte, North Carolina.
