Annie Li is a senior at Montgomery High School in Skillman, New Jersey. In 2016, she received a Gold Medal in Digital Art from the National Scholastic Art & Writing Awards and the piece was displayed at the Art.Write.Now.2016National Exhibitionat Parsons School of Design. Her creative work appears in or is forthcoming from Aerie International, The Skinny Poetry Journal, The Claremont Reviewand Rattle Young Poets Anthology. She is the instructor of Monty Creative Writing Club at Mary Jacobs Library, an editor of her high school’s student newspaper and literary magazine, an inductee of the National Art Honor Society, a captain of the varsity track and field team, and a member of her church’s youth group. Her favorite classes are English, calculus, and art history. Annie loves performing slam poetry, listening to Broadway soundtracks, exploring film photography, and petting dogs. In college, she plans on studying English, creative writing, and education, in hopes of a career that will allow her to ignite more appreciation for literary arts in the community
