Claire Taylor is a Vocal Major III at Red Bank Regional High School, class of 2019. Claire’s academic pursuits include: Honors, Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate courses.
In school, Claire enjoys participating in Chamber Choir, School Newspaper, and Environmental club. Recently, Claire received recognition from NJ Senator Vin Gopal for successfully leading the National School Walkout Day. In her community, she is an active member of Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore and her church.
Claire is the recipient of the C. Scripps Beebee Scholarship and First Place winner of 2017’s All State Opera. She placed 3rd in the Classical and Musical Theatre Divisions of National Association of Teachers in Singing. Claire starred in the opera Friedl at the Count Basie Theatre directed by famed Los Angeles Opera director Eli Villanueva. Claire has participated in All Shore and All State Mixed Chorus of 2017-18. Claire’s performances at Carnegie Hall include: Debut of Seven Last Words composed by Michael John Trotta and the New England Symphonic Ensemble, singing selections of Handel’s Messiah.
Claire looks forward to a future in Classical Performance and furthering her education in all avenues of music.
