Vivian Lu is a junior at Cherry Hill High School East in Cherry Hill, NJ. Her work has been recognized by the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, the Live Poets Society of New Jersey, and the Walt Whitman Birthplace Young Poets Awards. She is the Editor-in-Chief of Bitter Melon Magazine, a literary journal dedicated to underrepresented voices. She works as an editorial intern at Winter Tangerine Review. Her work has been published in a number of literary magazines, including National Poetry Quarterly, Eunoia Review, deLuge, among others. She is interested in the intersection between literature and neuroscience, and aspires to pursue both in the future.
