Ann Marie Miller is a longtime arts advocate, educator, and leader whose career has spanned arts education, public policy, philanthropy, and nonprofit arts administration. She served as Executive Director of ArtPride New Jersey from 1996–2014 and later led the organization’s advocacy and governmental affairs efforts, helping connect the arts with policymakers and leaders across the public and private sectors.
A graduate of Moore College of Art & Design with a B.S. in arts education, Ann Marie began her career teaching visual art in public and private schools before moving into arts administration. Her career has included positions with county and state arts agencies, a fellowship at the National Endowment for the Arts, and service as Development Director at McCarter Theatre Center.
Ann Marie continues to champion the arts as an educator, community leader, and practicing artist. She is an adjunct professor at Montclair State University, chairs her local arts commission, and is a fiber artist, maker, and baker—because she still can’t get enough art in her life.
