Isabella Rodriguez

My participation in Arts Ed NJ’s Youth Arts Ed Council had a big impact on how I see my creativity and my future. One important experience for me was working on promotional projects that helped get more kids involved in the arts. Being part of those projects showed me that art is not just about creating something, but also about how you share it with others. Seeing more students become interested because of our work made me realize how powerful creativity can be outside of just making art.

The different projects and guest speakers we had also changed the way I think about careers in the arts. I learned that creativity can be used in many different fields, not just as an artist. These experiences helped me realize that I want to minor in marketing because it combines creativity with communication, two things I enjoy. Overall, the Youth Arts Ed Council helped me grow as a creative person and showed me that there are many possibilities and pathways in the arts for my future.
