Art was taken seriously in my elementary school, but it wasn’t until I moved to Infinity that I encountered the dynamic duo of my art journey: Ms. Shearwood, a revered maven in our district, and Ms. Lee, an art maestro with an international flair. Ms. Shearwood didn’t just teach art; she wove magic into every stroke of her brush, imparting invaluable lessons in criticism and the ceaseless pursuit of artistic refinement. Through her, I not only learned about art but also discovered the profound beauty in diversity. Her self-portrait sessions became kaleidoscopic adventures where I marveled at the uniqueness of every face, realizing that each person possesses a distinct and radiant beauty, often overlooked by the untrained eye.
