Wendy Liscow is a lifelong advocate for the transformative power of arts and arts education, and is a champion for ensuring equitable access to quality arts learning for all students. Prior to joining Arts Ed NJ in 2023, she spent 17 years at the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, shaping grantmaking strategies in both the Arts and Education portfolios. Wendy builds on her 25-year career in professional theatre, including 12 years as associate artistic director, dramaturg, and resident director at the George Street Playhouse, followed by a director of programs role at the New Jersey Theatre Alliance. She brings a deep understanding of both artistic practice and systems-level change to her work.
